If you’re reading this, you understand the importance of the arts. What you might not know, is how Primary Colours makes an impact on the arts in Indiana.

Primary Colours was founded as a grassroots organization, a collection of volunteers uniting to create innovative showcases for emerging visual artists, to enlighten audiences, and to provide professional development for local artists.

One way to donate is through our Facebook Cause page. Your gift is tax deductible, gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling supporting local arts, and gets you free tickets and promotional considerations.

As times get tough, spending each dollar becomes much more a conscious decision. A night at the movies becomes watching DVDs at home, magazine subscriptions lapse, eating in replaces dining out.

Your donation to Primary Colours helps support the local economy directly. The programs we provide help create culture and attract worldwide audiences, which attracts companies and employees, which feeds the economy. Think of it as “trickle up economics.”

The Arts Council of Indianapolis tells us that the arts in this city generate nearly half a billion dollars in economic activity and support more than 15,000 local jobs, including our own executive director.
